Abilities in Focus

Abilities in Focus is a celebration of disability, art, and community. Hosted by Services for Independent Living, the gala brings together artists, advocates, and partner organizations to showcase the creativity and strength of the disability community. This year’s event also marks the 35th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, a landmark in the fight for equality. More than an evening of elegance, it’s an opportunity for disability nonprofits across the region to share their missions, raise funds, and celebrate progress toward a future where independence and inclusion are always in focus.

Your Impact
Sponsorship of Abilities in Focus provides direct support for people with disabilities in our community — funding programs, expanding access, and ensuring that independence is not just an aspiration, but a reality. Your partnership is a visible commitment to equity, inclusion, and the celebration of ability in all its forms.

• Dress Code: Business Attire. We encourage guests to dress up if they feel inspired.
• Dining/Drinks: Plated Dinner is provided. Drinks are available at the cash bar. 
• Parking: Shuttles will be available to and from surrounding parking lots. 
• Accommodations: We encourage participation from members of the disability community. This event is scent-free in order to accommodate individuals who have environmental disabilities and are adversely affected by scent and odors. We will have ASL interpreters for our program.
